Tavistock and Dartmoor – lovely market town built from granite with famous pannier market and ruins of a Benedictine cloister. Gateway to Dartmoor, 600 sq km of high moors, location of the Hounds of Baskerville, famous for ponies, tors and Princetown prison.
Director Peter Deutsch found Kelly College in Tavistock the perfect building to film scenes of “Miss Cameron" to play in an university. Dartmoor was chosen for some scenes in the production of “The End of Summer”. The main characters get off their horses and climb up to Brent Tor.
